Where's The Food Already??

So before I get to all of the delicious nom, I wanted to kind of explain exactly what a foodie is. I thought of it as just a person who enormously enjoys delicious foods, but thanks to Wikipedia, I have learned that it is so much more. Apparently, a foodie is someone who enjoys not only delicious food, but delicious drink!!

 "Although the two terms are sometimes used interchangeably, foodies differ from gourmets in that gourmets are epicures of refined taste who may or may not be professionals in the food industry, whereas foodies are amateurs who simply love food for consumption, study, preparation, and news.^[1] Gourmets simply want to eat the best food, whereas foodies want to learn everything about food, both the best and the ordinary, and about the science, industry, and personalities surrounding food"

So I have to say thats not entirely true about myself. Yes, I am an amateur. But I don't really want to learn everything there is to know about being a foodie. A wino could be cool though. That's just someone who drinks and knows good wine, right? I'll check out the wiki for us..

OKAY WOW. That's not me. While I may drink copious amounts of low end alcohol (Natty Lite what upp), I am NOT homeless. In fact on a weird side note, I live in two places technically. On and off campus. This is kind of what I meant about how I would be posting about whatever came to mind...

..we saw that one day and it has become a great verb in my friends and I's vocabulary. Let's nom, Where's the nom, using nom as an adjective. It's great, feel free to adopt.

So essentially now that I am allowed to incorporate my drinking under the foodie umbrella I will be sure to post nommin' drinks as well. Get ready for some easy and delicious nom.
